Role and Responsibilities: Proactively manage Client's portfolio, their Tax Strategy and Tax Return on both Domestic and International Clients – Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, Streamlines and Trusts.
150+ client portfolio.
Reports to Tax Manager – Weekly Reviews.
Responsible of ensuring Client’s Tax Compliance matters in order.
Will lead 2-3 annual Growth Projects (Continuous Improvement)
A separate internal team manages the accounting and bookkeeping. In this role you will focus on the tax aspects.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
3+ years of working experience in a CPA, Accounting, or Attorney Firm
Experience with Tax Compliance and Advisory services.
Experience with Tax Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S.
Fluent in both Spanish and English - Verbal and Written.
Good Organization skills.
Abilities to easily adapt to new technologies: CRM, Paperless Office, Cloud Server.
Master’s degree in taxation.
CPA or E.A License.
International tax experience is preferred.
Experience with Tax Forms 1040NR, 114, FinCen, 1120-F, 1065, 990, 1041, 1042, 3520, 5471, 5472 8621, 8833, W-8Ben, Transition Tax, Gilti Tax)
Experience with Intuit Lacerte Tax Software and Quickbooks.

Responsible for supporting and supervising the firm’s (Monahan-Mijares CPA) administrative operations and the logistics control of all client-related activities while collaborating with the Venezuelan branch office.
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling critical correspondence (such as the IRS notices, client’s mail, and all office related); designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Controls, monitor, and report client’s workflow to ensure client customer satisfaction from inception to completion. To ensure all customer requests are received to the right hand and escalate when required.
Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
Responsible for customer billing and collection management.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years related experience in the field and 3 in a CPA Firm
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Proven execution skills, with the ability to meet firm deadlines.
Ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
Excellent business acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive .change at all levels of the organization.
