OUR EARLY HISTORY

Founded in 1980, Monahan Mijares & Asociados (MMA) opened doors in Caracas, Venezuela and grew quickly as our reputation as dependable and effective service-oriented professionals became known to our first clients. MMA was a pioneer in the Administrative and Accounting Outsourcing industry in Venezuela for the foreign clients, as we knew that we could professionally take full responsibility of the business units that were overwhelming our clients.

A family company from the beginning, Cornelius Monahan and his son Ronald Monahan formed the company as a service to foreign multi-nationals who had founded companies in Venezuela and required a local resource for the management of their administrative duties. In these early days, the firm focused primarily on foreign clients and investors in the petroleum and oil industry.

In 2003 Monahan Mijares CPA (MMCPA) opened doors in Miami as a way to ensure steady growth as a consequence of the 2-year long historical oil-strike in Venezuela, since then our firm has grown at fast pace virtuously on referrals by serving both the U.S. and foreign individuals and their companies based in U.S. and all over Latin-America.
