He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of CPA's. His outside activities include participation in VenAmCham events and activities, AVAA (Venezuelan American Friendship Association), a non-governmental organization.

He is also Notary Public in the state of Florida in the U.S. and a Certified Acceptance Agent of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.

Christian Monahan stands at the forefront of operations and finance with a career spanning over 17 years across multifarious industries. As a Partner and Vice President of Monahan Mijares CPA, he has etched his name as a force to reckon with tax and accounting services.

A proud alumnus of the University of Florida, Christian graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, complemented by a minor in Business Administration. Then, sharpened his skills further, attaining the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification by the General Electric Company, positioning him as an expert of streamlined processes and efficient operations and business strategies.

Christian's Continues Improvement nature became evident early on, with multiple internships paving the way for an invitation at the General Electric Corporation. It wasn't long before he was recognized and chosen for the prestigious program: Operations Management Leadership Program, a testament to GE's faith in his potential. Completing this rotational commitment, Christian seamlessly transitioned into key leadership positions within the company, including those in Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, and Program Management.

The year 2014 marked a pivotal turn in Christian's journey as he ventured together with his father Roark Monahan into the family legacy at Monahan Mijares CPA. This fully integrated CPA firm, renowned for its expertise in International U.S. Tax and Accounting Services, found its operations invigorated under his leadership. With offices strategically located in Miami, FL, and Caracas, VE, Christian took the helm of a formidable team of 25 professionals, guiding them with his unique blend of engineering thinking, precision, and business acumen. As the third-generation torchbearer at Monahan Mijares CPA, he has seamlessly integrated traditional values with modern advanced technology methods.

Christian's influence is not confined to his firm alone. He holds the significant position of Director at the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce of the United States, entrusted with the pivotal task of leading its finances and compliance.
